Terms of Service
These terms explain how ordering, paying, delivery and refunds work on Quick Food Shop, and what we and you can expect from each other.
Last updated: 6 October 2026
About These Terms
- Quick Food Shop is a food and grocery delivery service in the United Kingdom. We connect customers with restaurants, stores and delivery riders through our website and mobile app.
- These terms apply whenever you use the service. By creating an account or placing an order you agree to them.
- The food and groceries you order are prepared and sold by the restaurant or store you choose. We take the order and payment and arrange the delivery.
- Questions about these terms: info@quickfoodshop.com or +44 773 662 4832.
Your Account
- You must be 18 or over to create an account.
- Anyone can browse the stores and menus. You need an account to place an order or save favourites.
- Give us correct details and keep them up to date, especially your phone number and delivery address.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- Customer, vendor and rider accounts are separate, even when they use the same email address.
Placing an Order
- Your order is placed once your payment has been confirmed. We then send it to the store.
- A store can only take orders while it is open, and an item can be out of stock. If either changes before you pay, the order is refused and you are not charged.
- The store may reject an order it cannot fulfil. If it rejects an order you have paid for, you are refunded in full.
- Check your order, delivery address and any delivery instructions before you pay.
Prices and Payment
- Prices are in pounds sterling and are set by each restaurant or store.
- Before you pay, the summary shows the full amount: your items, the delivery fee, and any service charge and VAT.
- You can pay by card or from your Quick Food Shop wallet. Card payments are handled by Stripe; your card details never reach our servers.
- Money in your wallet can be spent on orders. Refunds may be paid into it.
Promo Codes
- A promo code may have conditions, such as a minimum spend, a single store, a limited number of uses, or start and end dates.
- A code is checked when you apply it and again when you place the order. If it no longer applies, you can continue without it.
- Promo codes have no cash value and we may withdraw one at any time before it is used.
Delivery
- Delivery times and the live tracking estimate are estimates, not guarantees. Traffic, weather and how busy the store is can change them.
- Be available at the delivery address and on the phone number on your account when your order arrives.
- Your order comes with a delivery code. Give it to the rider only when you have received your order: it confirms the delivery.
- If the rider cannot reach you or the address is wrong, the order may not be delivered and may not be refunded.
Cancellations and Refunds
- Food is made to order and perishable, so the usual 14-day right to change your mind about an online purchase does not apply.
- If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as you can. Once the store has started preparing your order it may not be possible to cancel or refund it.
- If your order is wrong, incomplete, or does not arrive, tell us promptly with your order number and we will look into it with the store and the rider.
- Refunds go to your wallet or back to the card you paid with. A card refund is sent through Stripe and can take a few working days to show.
- Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
Food, Ingredients and Allergens
- Each restaurant or store is responsible for the food it sells, how it is prepared, and the descriptions, ingredients and allergen information it gives.
- If you have an allergy or dietary requirement, check with the store or contact us before you order. Do not rely on a picture or a short description alone.
- Photos are for illustration; what arrives may look different.
Vendors and Riders
- Vendor and rider accounts must be approved by us before they can be used. We ask for identity documents and may reject or block an account.
- Vendors must keep their menu, prices, stock, opening hours and allergen information correct, and follow food safety and trading law.
- A vendor who rejects an order after accepting it bears the cost of food already made; the customer is refunded in full.
- Riders share their live location while online so that deliveries can be offered and customers can follow their order. A delivery is complete, and paid, when the customer's delivery code has been entered.
- Earnings are added to your wallet. Withdrawals are reviewed by our team and paid through Stripe, which needs your payout details to be set up first.
Acceptable Use
- Do not use the service for anything unlawful or fraudulent, including false orders, stolen cards or abusing refunds and promo codes.
- Do not harass or abuse riders, store staff, other customers or our team.
- Ratings and reviews must be honest and about your own experience.
- Do not try to break, overload, copy in bulk or get around the security of the website or app.
Suspending and Closing Accounts
- We may block or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. A blocked account is signed out and cannot sign in or order.
- You can delete your account at any time. Deletion is refused while an order is in progress or your wallet still has money in it.
- Order and transaction records are kept after an account is closed, as the law requires for financial records.
Our Responsibility to You
- We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
- We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, or for losses that were not foreseeable.
- We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, and your legal rights as a consumer.
- We work to keep the service available but cannot promise it will always be free of interruptions or errors.
